The CE12808 is an enterprise-grade Layer 3 switch from Huawei, belonging to the CloudEngine 12800 series of data center switches. This device features a modular port architecture, configured with 8 service expansion slots, a backplane bandwidth of 32Tbps, a packet forwarding rate of 9600Mpps, and supports full-duplex/half-duplex adaptive transmission modes. The device measures 442×938×752mm, weighs less than 90kg unloaded, and supports AC 90-290V input with a maximum power consumption of ≤10800W. It runs on the VRP8 operating system, supports VLAN multi-mode, QoS traffic classification, and RADIUS/HWTACACS security authentication, and has a switching capacity of 64Tbps and a 512-node TRILL networking capability. As a core data center device, its modular design can be expanded to 192 100GE ports to achieve network virtualization.
