S9706 is a 6-slot core routing switch in the Huawei S9700 series, designed for large enterprise campus network cores and data center aggregation scenarios. This series was released in 2012 and is Huawei's previous generation of T-bit core switching products. It has been gradually replaced by CloudEngine S12700E and S16700 series
