    Application scenarios

    1. All optical access for enterprise/park networks: This is its core application. When terminal devices (such as servers with optical ports, wireless APs, cameras) are distributed in a scattered manner, or when the distance from the data center exceeds 100 meters (the limit of network cables), the 25731-S48X can perfectly solve the problem. For example, in large factories, campuses, or ports, stable communication within a few kilometers can be easily achieved by connecting access switches or terminals in distant buildings through fiber optics.

    2. High density server access in data centers: In data centers, servers in cabinets are usually located very close to access switches, but for high bandwidth, low latency, and better heat dissipation cabling, using fiber optic connections is a common choice. This switch, with its 48 gigabit optical ports, can densely connect to a large number of servers and converge traffic without blocking through 4 10G uplink ports.

    3. Industrial/monitoring scenarios that require strong anti-interference capabilities: In factory workshops, power facilities, or surveillance networks deployed along the street, strong electromagnetic interference may affect network cable transmission. Fiber optic cables are naturally immune to electromagnetic interference, making data transmission more stable and reliable. Therefore, this switch is very suitable for connecting industrial equipment or high-definition cameras.

    Pluggable AC and DC power modules can be used together in the same switch, but power modules that use natural heat dissipation and power modules that use air cooling cannot be used together.
