    Application scenarios

    1. It is necessary to consider the mixed access scenario of fiber optic and network cable terminals: this is its most core application. When there are a large number of devices that require fiber optic access in the network (such as servers with optical ports, remote switches), as well as a small number of network cable devices (such as management computers, printers), the 25731-S32ST4X can be "done with one machine", without the need to separately purchase optical port switches and electrical port switches. For example, in a factory workshop, optical ports can be used to connect distant cameras, and electrical ports can be used to connect nearby control consoles.

    2.2.5G speed smooth upgrade scenario: 24 optical ports can be configured for 2.5GE speed in the latest software version. This means that the access speed of critical devices can be increased from 1G to 2.5G without replacing existing wiring (especially Cat5E Ethernet cables with optoelectronic converters), achieving smooth bandwidth upgrades, especially suitable for connecting Wi Fi 6 APs or high-performance workstations.

    Pluggable AC and DC power modules can be used together in the same switch, but power modules that use natural heat dissipation and power modules that use air cooling cannot be used together.
