Introduction
The Huawei NE40E-X3 is an enterprise-grade all-service router introduced by Huawei, belonging to the NE40E series of network equipment. It is primarily designed for operator backbone networks, large enterprise core layers, and data center interconnection scenarios. Featuring a modular architecture, it includes five expansion slots (3 service cards + 2 main control cards), supports high-density port extensions such as 100GE/40GE/10GE, boasts a switching capacity of Tbps level, and delivers a forwarding performance of up to 960Mpps.
This model is equipped with self-developed chips, supports IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack and MPLS VPN technologies, integrates security mechanisms such as ACL filtering and URPF, and enables network slicing and QoS traffic scheduling. The device features redundant power supplies and hot-swappable design
