Huawei's Practice in Infrastructure Interconnection: Empowering with Digital Intelligence, Working Together for Progress
Huawei Vice President and CEO of the Transportation Intelligence Corps, Ma Yue, was invited to attend the conference. At the theme forum of "Consolidating the Achievements of Interconnection Cooperation and Expanding New Space for International Cooperation", Ma Yue pointed out that infrastructure interconnection can help further promote industrial agglomeration, economic development, and improvement of people's livelihoods through infrastructure leadership, ensuring the safety and resilience of the global supply chain industry chain. Digitization and intelligence will be key means to further accelerate infrastructure interconnection. The rapid development of AI technology has brought new opportunities to human society. Transportation has rich application scenarios and massive data accumulation. By deeply integrating AI technology with transportation scenarios, such as intelligent road traffic control, intelligent railway operations, and intelligent airport operation control, the safety service level and production and operation efficiency of transportation passenger flow and logistics activities will be further improved.
Facing the construction and development of infrastructure, Ma Yue also proposed three "sustainability": Huawei will continue to adhere to technological innovation and drive future development; Continuously adhere to a deep understanding of industry scenarios and provide the most suitable technology for business scenarios; Continuously adhere to the principles of "openness, cooperation, and win-win". In the future, Huawei will closely collaborate with numerous partners in the industry chain to jointly build capabilities, enabling "people to enjoy their actions, materials to optimize their flow, and intelligence to win".
Huawei Transport Infrastructure Digital Transformation Reference Architecture 1.0 Released
At the launch ceremony of the international infrastructure innovation achievements, Huawei and its partners released the Reference Architecture 1.0 for the digital transformation of transportation infrastructure, to assist the digital transformation of the transportation industry.
Shen Surong, COO of Huawei Transportation Intelligence Corps, Xu Xujing, Director of Cooperation and Development Department of Huawei Transportation Intelligence Corps, Liu Xu, Chief Economist of General Technology International, Lu Zhiyuan, Deputy General Manager of ChemChina International Engineering Co., Ltd., and Li Jianfeng, Assistant General Manager of China Energy Engineering Gezhouba International, attended the launch ceremony. Lu Yuchun, Chief Engineer of Huawei's Transportation Intelligence Corps, presided over the launch ceremony.
Huawei's digital transformation reference architecture for transportation infrastructure 1.0 is based on four core capabilities: intelligent perception: multi-source precise perception, more accurate detection, more precise control, and easy system deployment; Intelligent Connection: Build a high bandwidth, low latency, stable and reliable communication network to ensure that data can be accessed and accessed intelligently; Intelligent platform: IT resource intensification, cloud based data empowerment, accumulation of data assets, and assistance in business upgrading; Intelligent application: Working together with partners, delving into the transportation industry, and finding suitable product technologies and solutions for business scenarios. Through the synergistic effect of the four core competencies, this reference architecture can comprehensively enhance the intelligence level of transportation infrastructure and promote the digital transformation of the transportation industry.
Currently, based on this reference architecture, Huawei has developed numerous intelligent solutions in fields such as aviation, highways, urban transportation, ports, rail transit, logistics, and warehousing, which have been widely applied.
Innovate digital infrastructure and build a solid foundation for big transportation and logistics digital intelligence
Transportation, as a critical infrastructure, is the lifeline that supports economic and social development. Lu Yuchun, Chief Engineer of Huawei's Transportation Intelligence Corps, stated at the launch ceremony that currently, transportation infrastructure is accelerating its evolution towards digitization, intelligence, low carbonization, and integration. In the face of this trend, Huawei is committed to innovating its digital infrastructure and collaborating with partners to build a solid foundation for big transportation and logistics digital intelligence, in order to adapt to the diverse innovation needs of the transportation industry and support its continuous development and evolution. At the same time, the application of digital technologies such as 5G, cloud, big data, and AI will help the entire transportation industry achieve intelligent upgrading.
During the summit forum, Huawei showcased scenario based solutions for industries such as rail, road, aviation, ports, customs, logistics, and warehousing, attracting attention from attendees from multiple countries and regions.
As of now, Huawei has served over 180000 kilometers of railways worldwide, more than 300 urban rail lines in over 70 cities, over 200000 kilometers of highways and urban road networks, more than 210 airports and airlines, and over 100 clients in the water transportation port industry. From aerial bridges to deep-water docks, from cross-border rail tracks to urban arteries, in the future, Huawei will continue to collaborate with customer partners to connect land, sea, and air channels with innovative technologies, helping regions upgrade isolated transportation nodes into intelligent collaborative networks, and making infrastructure a digital artery that carries regional prosperity.
