The new round of construction boom has opened the "acceleration key" for smart cities, and distinctive "smart city" benchmarks have emerged one after another. Zhongshan, located in the geometric center of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, is seizing the significant historical opportunity of the "dual zone drive" and is striving to build a "Bay Area hub, boutique Zhongshan". Taking the construction of smart cities as an opportunity, it is moving towards "winning the economic turnaround, revitalizing the tiger's power, and accelerating high-quality rise".
In the construction of smart cities, the network is the foundation and cornerstone. To get rich, first build roads; To be intelligent, the internet comes first. Adhering to the concept of "Smart Zhongshan and Network First", the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Construction of New Infrastructure in Zhongshan City (2020-2022)" proposes to "successfully build a new infrastructure system led by the new development concept, driven by technological innovation, based on information networks, and facing the needs of high-quality development, providing services such as digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and integrated innovation".
Smart cities press the accelerator button, government networks put forward new requirements
With the increasing trend of internet users, mobile applications, and diversified service demands among government service recipients, the application of e-government in Zhongshan City continues to deepen, becoming an important support for efficient operation, innovative management, and improvement of public services at all levels of government departments. The accelerated implementation of "new infrastructure" is driving the intelligent upgrade of Zhongshan's e-government business system, and also placing higher demands on the forward-looking, intelligent, reliable, and secure nature of the government network
• Connected intelligence: The network is the "nerve" and "artery" of smart cities, and Smart Zhongshan requires a clear network architecture, unobstructed flow, and convenient management. There are currently about 20 business private networks built in Zhongshan, and data fusion between private networks is difficult. Key units repeatedly access multiple private network networks, resulting in low utilization of dedicated bandwidth and difficulty in locating faults, which is not conducive to overall network management and operation.
Proactive planning: As an infrastructure, the network is a productive force that requires forward-looking planning. At the same time, it is necessary to meet the national "IPv6 Scale Deployment Action Plan" and accelerate the upgrading and transformation of IPv6 networks.
Perceived full coverage: Ubiquitous perception is the foundation of proactive and refined urban governance. Only perception can be proactive, and the depth of perception determines the accuracy of urban governance. Perception cannot be separated from ubiquitous networks.
Building the foundation of a new generation of e-government network to promote the transformation and upgrading of smart Zhongshan
The new generation of Zhongshan e-government external network is built with the idea of "same architecture, wide coverage, high reliability, and rich capabilities". Establish a unified city network, connect front-end perception channels, extend the "data tentacles" of Smart Zhongshan, and form a perception management service network that integrates heaven and earth.
One City Network: One Network with Multiple Planes, Extended Perception, Ensuring Business Experience
As the "main artery" of smart cities, the overall planning of e-government networks takes into account the demand for multi-purpose smart city networks. Adopting a logical plane or interconnected "one network, multiple planes" design, it carries services such as government external network, video network, Internet of Things, 5G government network, etc., supporting intelligent urban governance. Connect 24 towns and streets to 277 village nodes, perceive more committees, institutions, enterprises, and personnel, connect 10000 high-definition videos, and plan to connect 100000 level terminals and sensors in the future.
The new generation of government external network adopts Huawei's advanced IPv6+technology, and achieves intelligent network management through SDN, SRv6 and other technologies. In the future, it can support FlexE network slicing capability. The launch of the new network not only responds to the policy requirements of IPv6 transformation, but also effectively solves the problems of slow opening, poor experience, and difficult operation and maintenance of the original e-government network business, and supports the one-stop migration of commissioned bureau business to the cloud. The adoption of SDN+SRv6 Policy technology enables route selection based on bandwidth and latency, just like installing an intelligent navigation system on the network. When congestion occurs on one route, it automatically switches to another, ensuring bandwidth balance, optimal experience, and meeting the requirements of business quality assurance and security isolation.
Connecting the cerebellum: collaborative linkage, visible quality
The network operation and maintenance platform adopts the latest SDN solution to achieve data collection, monitoring, analysis, control, and collaboration, transforming from decentralized management to centralized management, and from disorderly services to orderly services. It realizes unified management, allocation, deployment, monitoring, and backup of hardware and software resources, and improves the efficiency of government network operation, maintenance, and management; Big data+AI technology automatically constructs a fault propagation graph, realizes root cause inference, and achieves minute level localization of 75 typical network faults; Through the IoT management platform, a massive number of IoT terminals will be uniformly connected, and in the future, data will be collected from IoT terminals such as smart pole stations for ubiquitous intelligent sensing networks; Through the unified presentation of the IOC large screen, the health quality of the urban Internet and the Internet of Things can be seen in real time, ensuring the efficient and stable operation of the system, opening the "connected cerebellum", and moving towards the era of connected intelligence.
At the end of 2020, the new generation of e-government external network in Zhongshan has been successfully disconnected and launched. As the first SRv6 Policy deployment site in the government industry, Zhongshan has taken the lead in "One Network" and established a national model of high standard and high-quality construction of government external networks, laying a solid foundation for building a "smart city" model of a medium-sized city that is "first-class in the province and leading in the country". In the current heat wave of "smart city" construction, Huawei will continue to leverage its advantages of understanding both industry and technology to help more customers solidify their digital transformation infrastructure, work together with partners to provide leading smart city network solutions for government industry customers, and provide strong support for innovative government governance and service models, improving administrative management and service efficiency, enhancing government credibility and execution.
