Wu Yonghe, Director of the Education Informatization Technology Standards Committee of the Ministry of Education of China and Professor at East China Normal University, shared the exploration and practice of digitalization in Chinese education. He pointed out that China's national policies and local regulations are being promoted in coordination, with digital infrastructure as the foundation, deepening the integration of artificial intelligence technology and education. Artificial intelligence has been deeply integrated into the entire teaching process, benefiting millions of teachers and students, and promoting the comprehensive improvement of education quality.
Huawei's Director of Inclusive Education in Northern Africa, Liu Yue, emphasized that in the face of challenges such as the shortage of educational resources and inadequate infrastructure in Africa and other regions, Huawei has proposed the "End Management Cloud Intelligence" E2E solution, which includes smart classrooms, affordable cloud terminals, campus connectivity, and an integrated solution of cloud and intelligence. This will break down the boundaries of the classroom, promote educational equity and quality improvement, and help achieve the global goal of "full coverage of high-quality education". During this period, a smart education company introduced AI digital human teachers and shared the latest practical achievements of AI education intelligence. During the event, SOMBO AYANNE SAFI MUKUNA Marie Th é r è se, Minister of Higher Education and University Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Congo, signed a letter of intent to cooperate with Huawei, focusing on the construction of digital infrastructure in universities, the development of smart classrooms and online learning platforms, the improvement of information technology capabilities of teachers and students, and educational research cooperation. The two sides also plan to establish a joint innovation laboratory in the Democratic Republic of Congo to cultivate young talents who can adapt to the digital age. At the same time, Moustampa Mamba GUIRASSY, the Minister of Education of Senegal, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Sonatel and Huawei on behalf of the Ministry of Education, promoting the digitization of education and the development of inclusive education in Senegal by deepening cooperation in digital teaching equipment, digital infrastructure, talent cultivation, and other areas.
During the event, education departments and university clients from Africa also visited exemplary education industry sites in Beijing, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and other places, engaging in in-depth exchanges with Chinese counterparts.
